Juanling graduated from Hebei Medical University in 2007 and has nearly 20 years of clinical experience as a Chinese Medicine Doctor and Acupuncturist.
Her clinical background combines traditional Chinese medicine with a strong foundation in modern anatomy and functional principles. She worked at Shuangqiao Hospital in Beijing for nine years, followed by four years at Cheng’s Acupuncture Clinic in Beijing. She has continued her clinical practice in New Zealand for the past three years.
She integrates traditional acupuncture with a detailed understanding of muscles, nerves, joints, fascia, movement and the relationships between different parts of the body, taking a whole-body approach rather than focusing solely on the site of pain.
Her assessment may include posture, movement, breathing, neural tension and other relevant functional patterns.
She has a particular interest in complex and persistent pain conditions, with a focus on musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, including disc-related and degenerative changes, nerve-related pain and symptoms, sports and soft tissue injuries, and tendon and joint problems.
Juanling is passionate about helping people understand their bodies, reduce pain, restore movement and return to the activities they enjoy.
